Infinito 200 – the logo

We are not celebrating the 200th anniversary of a poet, but the 200th anniversary of a poem. I have been given the task, for which I am grateful to my friend Davide Rondoni who chose me, of making this celebration visual and tangible, through the study and creation of the dedicated logo. Not an easy task, but a happy one, because participating in this initiative is for me a source of pride, but also and above all of joy and sharing in such an ambitious and profoundly Italian project.

Davide Rondoni, who organized the Infinito200 event dedicated to the bicentenary of Leopardi’s poem “l’Infinito”, chose Raffaele Gerardi to imagine, design and create the official logo for the initiative.

Based on the original graphic line of the title of the work, an elegant and at the same time contemporary logo was developed to clearly distinguish the initiative.
